CIOB Certificate and Diploma in Site Management
Who is eligible?
The programme is aimed at the experienced, practical individual, typically a qualified tradesperson now working as a Site Supervisor/ Manager or for those working in similar roles with non-construction training or qualifications.
There is no minimum education standard required for entry onto the programme but Candidates should have at least 2 years site supervisory experience.
What is it?
The CIOB Level 4 Certificate and Diploma in Site Management are qualifications that have been developed to provide career progression and increased promotion prospects. The course provides training and qualifications in site management for those who want to be or might already be employed in a managerial position.
The Certificate is gained after the successful completion of four modules and the Diploma after all twelve.

How is it delivered?
Most modules require two days attendance per month in a classroom environment and site visits, together with an element of
personal study/research. Emphasis is on group participation and mutual learning, with guidance from the course tutors. There
are no examinations as performance is assessed by project work based on real projects.
