What is this course about?
This qualification will provide learners with a broader knowledge of the housing maintenance role and how it fits in to the wider context of housing. It is broadly comparable to an A-Level standard or an NVQ Level 3.
Who is eligible?
This course is suitable for learners who are: Maintenance professionals working within the housing industry. From a customer service or housing management background and want to qualify and progress to become a housing maintenance professional. Working as a tenant liaison officer in a private construction company.
Aims and outcomes
On completion of this course learners will:
Have a broad understanding of affordable housing organisations and the services they deliver, including key themes of partnership working, resident participation and regulation.
Understand equality and diversity legislation in a housing context.
Have increased knowledge of the importance of customer service standards in driving service improvements in repairs and maintenance.
