ABOUT US

With offices in Manchester, Craigavon, Dublin and Stirling, Training LMS was established to promote professionalism and excellence in leadership, management and supervision in modern day industry. Founders Allan McMullen and Roger Gillespie have both been involved in business and training for many years.

Both are from family firms and have developed their careers in education and training, particularly through their involvement with the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors.

Roger was Manager of WYG Training and also is Principal of Gillespie Consulting, specialists in construction consultancy, health & safety and the environment. Training LMS offers training programmes leading to professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Building, Engineers Ireland, Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and also CPD Events. 

Allan was Chief Executive of the Construction Industry Training Board from 1994 until 2009 and was the international president of the CIOB in 2005/2006. 

The addition of Brian McMullen who was warded Honorary Life Membership of the CIOB has brought his extensive knowledge and experience in the training and education sector, having also previously worked in contracting.

Paul Andrews is a Chartered Construction Manager and Chartered Civil Engineer who has worked in both contracting and consultancy. He also has extensive experience in delivering training to construction professionals in the higher education sector.

David Little, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, is our most recent addition to the team. David was NI Director of NHBC for 10 years, and a past Chair of CIOB in Ireland.  He has had wide experience in the construction industry, and in encouraging professional development.
