I had worked in construction and property management for over 30 years but, having no formal construction qualification, decided to apply for membership of the CIOB to advance my career. When I looked at the  CIOB website the whole application process seemed a bit daunting and I was about to give up on the prospect of gaining an internationally recognised qualification.Thankfully a colleague advised me to get in touch with Allan….am I glad I did. From our first meeting through to my conferring Allan supported me all the way, was patient and understanding, worked through the application process with me and gave me lots of encouragement when I began to wane working on my competencies.
