Roger Gillespie

Roger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction industry, having worked in a variety of roles across both contracting and consultancy sectors. Throughout his career he has made significant contributions to the industry and has held several key leadership positions.

He served as a board member of the Health & Safety Executive for Northern Ireland and has also been the Chair of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in Northern Ireland. Currently, Roger is the Chair of the Construction Professionals Council for Northern Ireland where he continues to advocate for the development of construction professionals, and a Trustee of CIOB Assist.

Roger’s influence extends beyond regional roles as he was recently appointed Chair of the UK Construction Industry Council Nations and Regions Committee, where he plays a role in coordinating national policy and strategy for the construction sector.
